White Collar Union Negotiation Meeting Minutes 9/17/07CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH NE FLORIDA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' LOCAL 630 "WHITE COLLAR" UNION NEGOTIATION MEETING SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 The negotiation meeting was called to order at 5:05 PM. Those in attendance were: City: George Foster, Chief Negotiator Union: Jack Baldwin, Union Steward Becky Orders, Union Steward The City provided the Union with a summary ofthe City's position on pending City issues and advised the Union that the City needed to have Article 20, 10 year pension vesting, approved by the Union along with the Union accepting the City's Article 26 pay proposals. (see attached summary table) 2. The Union responded that the City had changed it's position in that during the last meeting the City had agreed to remove all items and also had agreed to provide the Union with the pay increases as previously proposed. After a heated discussion concerning these issues to include employee pay increases, the meeting was concluded. (see attached summary table) 3. The next meeting date was established as September 26th at 5:00 PM in the City Commission Chambers. 4. The meeting adjourned at 6:00 PM.
