A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH APPOINTING THE
CLERKS, ASSISTANT CLERKS, PRETECHS, OS ATTENDANTS, TSX
ATTENDANTS, DEPUTIES AND INSPECTORS FOR THE CITY' S PRIMARY
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 2, 2007, AND GENERAL ELECTION
ON OCTOBER 16, 2007, AND SETTING THEIR COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, requires that an election be held
every two years; and
WHEREAS, Section 36 of the City Charter provides that the City Commission shall appoint
the election clerks and inspectors; and
WHEREAS, polling places have been designated as Precinct 13F, City Hall, 800 Seminole
Road; Precinct 13G, Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Boulevard; Precinct 13H, Atlantic Beach
Assembly of God, 680 Mayport Road; and Precinct 13S, Oceanside Church of Christ, 1025 Snug
Harbor Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
Section 1. The following persons are hereby appointed as Clerks, Assistant Clerks,
PreTechs, OS Attendants, TSX Attendants, Deputies, and Inspectors, as deemed necessary to
conduct the Primary Election to be held on October 2, 2007, and the General Election, if required,
on October 16, 2007. Compensation shall be at the rate of $250.00 for Election Clerks, $190.00 for
Assistant Clerks, and $170.00 for PreTechs, OS Attendants, TSX Attendants, Deputies and
Inspectors. In addition, two workers at each precinct will be compensated a $10.00 stipend for use
of their personal cell phones.
