AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE II CITY COMMISSION, SEC. 2-16 TIME
AND PLACE OF REGULAR MEETINGS, TO CHANGE THE TIME OF
REGULAR MEETINGS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SF.~TinN 1 _ Sec. 2-16 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2-16. Time and place of regulaz meetings.
The regular meetings of the city commission shall be held on the second and
fourth Mondays of each month, except December, in city hall, at ~5 fi;f1Q p.m. If
the second or fourth Monday falls on a holiday, the regulaz meeting shall be held on
Tuesday immediately following the holiday. In the month of December, the regulaz
meeting shall be held on the second Monday of the month. Additional regulaz
meetings shall be held on the night of every election."
SF.C'TinN _ 'Phis Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and
adoption.
