Website Usage in 200?; The city's website continues to see increasing usage. In 2007, there
were a total of 516,632 "visits" compared with 304,963 in 2006. This amounts to an average
1,415 visits per day. There were a total of 136,553 unique visitors compared to 83,876 for the
year before. A total of 27,398 users visited the site more than once during the year. The average
number of visits per user was just under four. The average length of a visit to our website
increased from just over 13 minutes in 2006 to over 15 %2 minutes in 2007. International visitors
totaled just under 5% of the visits to our site.
Some of the most popular pages on the site included the front page, indexes, bids, jobs, current
events, the directory and the document center. The most commonly used downloads from the
site included tree conservation permit applications, planning & zoning regulations, finance
documents, employment forms, archived documents from the City Clerk and Parks and
Recreation farms.
