CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MINUTES
7:00 P.M., September 11, 2007

Chairman Carl Russell called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m., followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag by all present.
Chairman Carl Russell requested that the roll be read. Secretary Susan Gorman read the
roll and determined that there was a quorum.
Following a brief review, the Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of the
Code Enforcement Board meeting of July 10, 2007.
1. Old Business:
a. Case # 165-05: Mr. Benjamin Brown, 457 Sailfish Drive.
Code Enforcement Officer Alex Sherrer provided an update on Case # 165-05. Mr.
Brown is in compliance and there are no violations, reported Code Enforcement Officer
Alex Sherrer. The Board was advised of City Attorney Alan Jensen's remarks regarding
Case # 165-05. The City Attorney addressed concerns from the Board and also stated
that he did not believe the Board exceeded its authority with regard to Mr. Brown.

2. New Business:
a. Alex announced the formal resignation of Board Member Velda Wells due to a serious
accident.
b. The Board was advised of Ray Breault's term completion. Code Enforcement Officer
Alex Sherrer thanked Mr. Breault for his service. Former Alternate Board Member,
Juliette Hagist fills the vacancy. New Alternate Member Ray Martin was introduced and
spoke briefly before the Board.
3. Miscellaneous Business:
Secretary Susan Gorman produced a contact list and asked Board Members to review and
update their contact information. Board Members received information regarding a
workshop scheduled for September 19, 2007.
4. Adjournment:
The Code Enforcement meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
