There is a small cottage on the property with a separate address i.e. 55 6`n Street. Our parking is extremely limited. More importantly, the situation is often very difficult because immediately southeast of our driveway is a handicap parking spot which is often used by vans with a lift. (We do not object to the handicap spot and are pleased that there is parking available for those who are disabled.) However, when we park a car on the southeast side of our driveway, it can partially block the handicap spot (especially when a larger handicap van is involved.) There is a small paved area immediately south of the cottage at 55 6`n Street. We would like to lease this parking spot from the City and are willing to pay a reasonable rate. It is my understanding that the City of Atlantic Beach has entered into lease agreemer_ts with other property owners under similar circumstances.
