SUBJECT: City Mana er's Report
Alcohol Sales Dealoyment; the Police Department conducted another deployment to see if
businesses would sell alcohol to underage persons late in August. Of the 15 businesses checked,
purchases were made at three including the K&W Discount Beverage Store at 469 Atlantic Blvd,
the BP Food Store at 1211 Mayport Road and the CITGO Gas Station at 1600 Mayport Road.
Even though some businesses did sell alcohol to the underage informant, the percentages of
businesses doing so is dramatically less than it was several years ago when the Police
Department routinely started making these checks of area businesses.
