08-01-98 vSUMMARY OF THE COMMISSION PLANNING SESSION HELD IN COMMISSION
CHAMBERS AT 9:00 AM ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 1998
Present were Mayor Shaughnessy and Commissioners Beaver, Borno, Meserve and Mitchelson.
Also present were Hugh Green who served as facilitator for the planning session, City Manager
Jim Jarboe, and City Clerk Maureen King.
The Mayor called the meeting to order and each commissioner gave a brief overview of what they
hoped would be accomplished through this meeting.
The broad goals which had been identified at a previous planning session were on display in the
commission chambers and were used to identify more specific goals.
A detailed report of the planning session will be presented by the City Manager and, when
complete, will be attached and made a part of this summary.
The session concluded at noon.
