CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MINUTES
7:00 P.M., November 17, 2008

Chairman Carl Russell called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag by all present.
Chairman Carl Russell requested that the roll be read. Secretary Susan Gorman read the roll and
determined that there was a quorum.
Following a brief review, the Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of the Code
Enforcement Board meeting of September 9, 2008.
Chairman Russell asked all Respondents and witnesses to step forward to be sworn in.
1. New Business
Prosecuting Attorney Suzanne Greene advised the Board to defer action on cases with waivers
pending. Several of the Respondents asked to address the Board. Board Member Ron Pendleton
motioned to defer action on cases pending waivers, Board Member Ouellette seconded and the
motion carried. Chairman Russell agreed to hear the Respondents and asked the Code
Enforcement Officer Alex Sherrer to give his report.
Case #793-07, James David Wilson, 1251 Carnation St.; Code Enforcement Officer Alex
Sherrer gave a presentation to the Board, he reported progress at this location, but
recommended the Board find Mr. Wilson guilty, but defer the fine and administrative
expenses pending the Respondent bring his property into compliance within thirty days.
Alternate Board Member Veda Bernstein motioned to accept the Code Enforcement

Officer's recommendation, Board Member Hagist seconded. Chairman Russell asked for a
roll call vote. Secretary Gorman called the roll and the motion passed unanimously.
