AGENDA ITEM: Haywood Estates Water and Sewer Acceptance of
Infrastructure for City Ownership and Maintenance

BACKGROUND: Construction on the water and sewer infrastructure for Habitat's new
Haywood Estates development has recently been completed at the comer of Mayport Road and
State Road A 1 A.
T'he contractor has completed construction in accordance with approved plans, and has submitted
all necessary documentation. City staff completed a final inspection, and the Department of
Environmental Protection has cleared the water and sewer systems for service.
BUDGET: No immediate impact to operating budget. The attached schedule of values will be
added to the City's assets.
RECOMMENDATION: Accept the water and sewer infrastructure at Haywood Estates
subdivision for ownership and maintenance by the City of Atlantic Beach.

We are asking the City of Atlantic beach to accept the water and
sewer infrastructure for ownership and maintenance.
