SUBJECT: City Manager's Report
Buckman Property Closing; A ceremonial closing of the Buckman property acquisition has
been scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, May 8~' at the covered overlook at Tideviews Pazk.
Representatives from the City of Atlantic Beach, the North Florida Land Trust and the donor that
made the purchase possible will all be in attendance. The City Commissioners, media and the
public aze invited to attend.
Workshop on Code Enforcement Standards; A workshop for the City Commission has been
scheduled on Tuesday, May 26 beginning at 5:00 pm to discuss proposed changes to the land
development regulations as outlined in the staff report from Sonya Doerr and reviewed at the last
City Commission meeting on Apri127~'. Note the fourth Monday in May would fall on Ma~ 25~'
which is a holiday so the regulaz meeting will be automatically moved to Tuesday, May 26 .
This workshop will be before the regulaz meeting.
