AGENDA ITEM: Annual Contract for Lawn & Pest Control for City Facilities

BACKGROUND: The City's annual contract for Lawn & Pest Control for City
Facilities with Pestmaster Services of Jacksonville expires
5/31/2009. We have contacted Mr. Kevin Minatree, Branch
Manager of Pestmaster Services, who has agreed to extend
the contract for another year (6/1/09 through 5/31/10) at the
current unit prices. Pestmaster Services was notified that
there will be a reduction in the frequency of service and in
the locations served largely due to consolidation of exterior
pest control with the City's annual Landscape Maintenance
Contract.
The City has the option of extending the current contract for
two 1-year periods. The proposed extension would be the
first.

ATTACHMENTS:
Each department has budgeted funds in their 3400 account
for pest control service.
Extend the contract for one year at the current unit prices.
