SUBJECT: City Manage s Report
Emer~ency Repair of Head Wall; A head wall at the end of a culvert under Seminole Road
adjacent to City Hall is quickly deteriorating. It is a "Rip-Rap" head wall and the sidewalk
above it is collapsing. If not repaired soon, it could affect Seminole Road itself. The City has
entered a purchase order with our general point repair contractor, Gruhn May, Inc, in an amount
of $39,796.10. No commission action is necessary, but it is necessary to report any emergency
repairs costing this much money.
Beach Access Map; Attached for your information is a newly created beach access map of City
of Atlantic Beach public access points that show ADA parking, ADA accessibility, vehicular
access, showers and other facilities. It was created by Erika Hall in connection with the EAR
Comp Plan Amendment process.
