The meeting was called to order by Mayor-Commissioner, . . .
Mr. Howell. The invocation was given by Commissioner Minton,
followed by the pledge to the flag.
The first item considered was a recommendation by the Advisory
Planning Board to grant permits to Construction Service Con-
tractors after certain elevations and plan changes were made
by "red line", in order to avoid similarity in appearance and
design on the plans that have been submitted. Following dis-
cussion it was moved by Commissioner Fogg, seconded by Com-
mission Minton that the City Commission authorize permits for
seven (7) plans as revised subject to approval by the City
Manager, Chairman of the Advisory Planning Board and Mr. Richard
Hilliard. The motion was carried.
Mayor Howell stated that a request by Mr. R. W. Howard with
reference to renewal of Residence C Zoning for Lots 3-11 Blk
16 and Lots 1-7 Blk 26 Royal Palms Subdivision could not be
acted on. by' "the Commission at this time. It is scheduled for
Public Hearing June 27, 1972. There was discussion of the
matter, but no action taken.
