HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON THURSDAY, JULY 27, 1972 at 7: 30

The meeting was called by Mayor Howell pursuant to the notice
delivered to all Commissioners on July 26, 1972.
Mayor Howell called the meeting to order. He stated that the
purpose of the meeting was to consider the appointment of a
committee to pursue the proper distribution of revenue sharing
to municipalities as set forth by State Statutes.
Mayor Howell suggested that a committee be appointed of the Mayor,
1010 Mayor Pro-tem, and City Attorney to represent the City of Atlantic
Beach, with like representation from the Cities of Neptune Beach
and Jacksonville Beach, said Committee to be known as
"Inter-Beaches Committee on Revenue Sharing"
This committee will consider course necessary for proper distri-
bution cf cigarette tax, liquor license revenue and any and all
funds due municipalities and to take appropriate action.
Following discussion, Commissioner Minton moved approval of
committee and their functions as suggested by Mayor Howell, se-
conded by Commissioner Fogg and carried.
There being no further business, the Mayor declar: the meeting
adjourned. •
