A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO ALAN C. JENSEN FOR THIRTY YEARS
OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Alan C. Jensen first served the citizens of Atlantic Beach when he was elected as
a City Commissioner in November 1975, and
WHEREAS, Alan C. Jensen has continued serving the citizens of Atlantic Beach over a 30-year
span, as a Commissioner for a total of almost nine years and as the City Attorney for an additional 21
years, and
WHEREAS, his dedication to the community and its people has always been at the highest level
of competency and commitment, and
WHEREAS, quite a number of Mayors, Commissioners, staff, citizens and others have had the
pleasure and reward of working with Alan C. Jensen through the past 30 years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Commissioners of Atlantic
Beach, Florida hereby wish to express their sincerest appreciation to Alan C. Jensen for his 30 years
of dedicated service to the community.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida this 9th day of November, 2009.
