AGENDA ITEM: Request for meeting dates to consider and adopt a general update to Chapter
24 of the City Code (Land Development Regulations)

BACKGROUND: Various City Departments have been working on a general update to Chapter
24 for the past six months, and the Community Development Board has reviewed these changes at
three meetings and recommended approval of the proposed revisions at their December 1St meeting.
Staff wishes to proceed with the completion of this process and requests procedural direction. The
draft and a summary of proposed changes was distributed to the Commission just before Christmas.
We are ready to proceed to first reading of an ordinance to consider and adopt the update or if the
Commission wishes to convene a workshop, we can find a workshop date.
BUDGET: No budget issue.
RECOMMENDATION: Direction to staff.
