COMMISSION HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2,
1970 AT 6 : 00 P. M.

The meeting was called to order by the Mayor-Commissioner, Mr.
Howell.
Mr. Howell advised that the meeting was called for the purpose
of reviewing proposed Change Order No. 2 for the new ground
storage reservoir and related facilities. Mr. Vogel pointed out
that the order was for repairs to the roof section of the exist-
ing reservoir. Such repairs were recommended by Mr. Walter J.
Parks, Jr. , Engineer for this project, and subject order is
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Mr. Minton moved that Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $1525.00
be adopted, seconded by Mr. Longo and carried.
Mr. Longo moved that $1525.00 be the limit of the amount of money
expended for this Change Order, seconded by Mr. Minton and carried.
There being no further business, Mr. Howell declared the meeting
adjourned.

New Ground Storage Reservoir
and Related Facilities

This Chance Order, when properly Executed by signatures of both the "Owner" and
the "Contractor" on the date indicated hereinafter will increase the value of
the original Contract executed by the two parties on January 14, 1970, in the
net amount of $1,525.00 for (1) chipping away faultily bonded grout on the top
surface of the "old" reservoir roof slab and sand blasting thoroughly the top
surface or said slab to eliminate all traces of a previous coating material in
order to achieve good bonding, and (2) applying two coats of Thoroseal water
proofing as manufactured by the Standard Dry 4all Products to the top surface
of said roof slab in full accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, in
order to eliminate the leakage of water through existing temperature cracks
and other minor existing faults in said roof slab, all in accordance with the
Contractor's letter of proposal attache,' hereto.
