At that time they were talking about completely demolishing the existing four-plexes, and rebuilding 16 units (duplexes) on her (Melissa Nelson) eight lots. The plan for this project has changed several times to its current submittal, which is renovation of the existing buildings and the same 26 units in three phases. They are entitled to maintain the use, but my position is that -per below- the current parking regulations apply to redevelopment, and they Parking Space, Off-Street shall mean a space consisting of an area adequate for parking motor vehicles with room for opening doors on both sides, together with properly related access to a public Street or alley and maneuvering room, but located totally outside of any Street or alley Riaht-of--way. Width, depth and arrangement of Parking Spaces shall conform to the requirements of Section 24-161.
