Atlantic Beach, FI. 32233 Re: 1721 Beach Ave. Atlantic Beach, FI. 32233 Dear Inspector Jones, My name is Todd Cowen and I am the owner of Banco Roofing & Construction, iru. We are performing a residential re-roof at 1721 Beach Avenue. I spoke with you early last week and explained that we needed to do a destructive inspection to be able to assess the code retrofit requirements. You stated that if the retrofit work will be mare than 15% of the re-roof dollar amount, then a letter explaining this with would need to be submitted. We have inspected the structure and to bring it to current retrofit codes would prime in the $7,500 - $8,500 range. The reason is that the roof is hip configuration and has over 800' of eave. This far exceeds the 2596 dollar amount. My hope is that this documentation is satisfactory and that 1 will be able to complete the roof as scheduled. At this point in the process, we should have the nail off and dry-in complete by tomorrow, January 12. If there is anything else that you need form me, please do not hesitate to call.
