Ordiance No. 20-10-103 vORDINANCE N0.20-10-103 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA FOR FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2009 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2010. WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires that the City Commission approve all budgetary increases and transfers at the fund level, and WHEREAS, the nature of budgetary systems and those day-to-day decisions affecting such budgetary systems require adjustments from time-to-time, and WHEREAS, the City anticipates entering into an interlocal agreement with the City of Jacksonville to receive $15,000 in district funding for partial assistance with the construction costs of improvements at the Atlantic Beach Dog Park, and WHEREAS, the City anticipates receiving approximately $5,800 in donations from the Atlantic Beach Dog Park Committee, which includes $2,740 of donations already received by the City towards this effort, and WHEREAS, the City intends to use these receipts to fund expenditures for the Atlantic Beach Dog Park project in a minimum amount of $20,580, not to exceed $20,800, at this time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, that; 1. The Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Budget be amended as follows: GENERAL FUND Revenues: Donations -City of Jacksonville $ 15,000 Donations - AB Dog Park Committee 3,060 Donations 2,740 Expenses: Park Improvements Capital Outlay Improvements -Atlantic Beach Dog Park $ 20,800 Fund Balance: $0 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. Passed by the City Commission on first reading this 12th day of April, 2010.
