Dear Contractor :
This letter is to inform you that permit number 09-38 issued for work at the above
referenced address has expired on July 12, 2009 in accordance with the Florida Building
Code Section 105.4.1 which states "Every permit shall become invalid unless the work
authorized by such permit is commenced within six months after its issuance, or if the
work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of six months
after the time the work is commenced."Work is considered abandoned when an approved
inspection is not obtained within a six-month period.
Failure to obtain an approved inspection within the next thirty days will resailt in this
matter being referred to the Code Enforcement Board which may impose fines of up to
$250 per day for doing work without the proper permits.
