Please see the attached email from Timmy.
This sounds like an appropriate "thank you" and recognition for a citizen who
has been truly dedicated to this committee for many years. I like the looks of
the award, and personally, I believe that it will be more practical and
appreciated when compared to a standard wooden plaque.
With your approval, we will proceed so that we are ready for the first August
City Commission meeting.

Here is a picture of an award and wording for a committee member that is
termed out beginning next month. She has been volunteering since 1st Night
(late 90's), was part of the Adele Grage renovation and has served on the
Recreation Committee for 7 years. At the Board Member Review Committee
meeting, it was decided that Lori (Chair) and I would work on presenting at the
reception or the Commission meeting and what to present. The award would
come from Atlantic Trophy and cost $50-$60.
We would like to present this at the first commission meeting in August. I will
need to let the trophy know this week. Thanks
