ORDINANCE NO. 20-10-105
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA FOR FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2009 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2010.
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires that the City
Commission approve all budgetary increases and transfers at the fund level, and
WHEREAS, the nature of budgetary systems and those day -to -day decisions affecting such
budgetary systems require adjustments from time -to -time, and
WHEREAS, the City proposes to construct improvements to the Beaches Veterans
Memorial Park using donated funds from the Oceanside Rotary Club, the VFW Post 3270 as well as
funds from the City of Jacksonville,
WHEREAS, the Town Center Agency has agreed to fund additional holiday lighting for the
Town Center area including the purchase, installation, removal and off- season storage of additional
decorations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON
BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, that;
1. The Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Budget be amended as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Revenues:
Contributions - Town Center Agency $36,900
Total Revenues
Expenses:
Public Works- Operating Expenses
Contract Services $36,900
Fund Balance: $0
GOVERNMENTAL CAPITAL PROJECT FUND
Revenues:
Intergovernmental Revenues from City of Jacksonville $50,000
Donations VFW Post 3270 12,500
Donations Oceanside Rotary Club 12,500
Total Revenues $75,000

2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
