PROJECT DESCRIPTION PROJECT NO. AND INFORMATION STATUS ON 9/1/10
1 Royal Palms Drainage (D) = Eisman & Russo Construction has begun; duration is expected to be 14 months. Project
Rehabilitation (C) = R.B. Baker general information and project schedule are available on the City's
Final Design = 100% (CE &I) = Public Works website.
Construction = 75%
2 TMDL Wastewater Engineering (D) = J. Collins Engineering Assoc. Commission approved Change Order #3 for Sludge Evaluation on
Preliminary Design = 100% (VE) = ATM 3/22/10. DEP Permit for forcemain issued 7/16/10. Received 60%
Neptune Beach Study = 100% Third Party constructability review comments. DEP noted all
Final Design forcemain = 100% information received for WWTP #1 Permit and they will issue the
Final Design WWTP = 65% draft permit shortly. Major equipment approved by Commission on
7/26/10.
3 Well 2R (D) = Bowen Civil Engineering Commission awarded construction contract to Gruhn May, Inc. on
DEP Permitting = 100% (C) = Gruhn May, Inc. 12/14/09. DEP issued Authority to Incur Costs for contractor on
SJRWMD Permitting = 100% (CE &I) = Bowen & Public Works 12/31/09 and for generator purchase on 1/11/10. Preconstruction
conference held 2/3/10. Contractor received Well Permit from
Construction = 85% SJRWMD on 3/16/10. Well drilling and transmission main
construction complete. Awaiting results of well testing and delivery of
pumping and electrical equipment.
4 Salt Air Sewer Rehabilitation (D) = Public Utilities Contracts approved by City Commission on 6/14/10. Preconstruction
Design = 100% (C) = Insituform & CCI conference held 6/24/10. Construction underway.
Construction = 75% (CE&I) = Public Utilities/Public Works
5 Rehabilitation of Tanks at Water (D) = Public Utilities Bids received 5/26/10. Project awarded by Commission on 6/14/10.
Plant Nos. 1 and 4 (C) = Tank Rehab, LLC Preconstruction conference held 6/24/10. Notice to Proceed July 7,
(CE &I) = Public Utilities 2010. Construction underway.
6 Upgrades to Lift Station E (D) = Public Utilities /ATM New high efficiency motors, generator and electrical equipment on
Design = 100% (C) = Ring Power, Limbaugh Electric order.
