AGENDA ITEM: Annual Professional Land Surveying

BACKGROUND: The City's annual contract for Professional Land Surveying
Services has expired. RFP #10 -07 for Surveying Services yielded
proposals from twelve firms as shown on the attached evaluation
chart. Proposals were ranked by City staff, and while any of the
top firms would do a professional job, the top two firms are:
1. Clary & Associates
2. L.D. Bradley Land Surveyors
These contracts are non - exclusive and do not prohibit the City
from obtaining survey services from other providers if it is in the
City's interest to do so.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign contracts with the top two
firms for three years, with the option to extend the contracts for
two additional two year periods.
BUDGET: No funds are obligated by these contracts. Total budget is reflected
in various professional services accounts for Public Works, Public
Utilities, Community Development (CDBG) and as part of various
projects for these departments.
