The reason the building is over is of no fault of the builder. He used the existing iron pins to string from to layout this house with 7 .5 foot clearance on each side of the house. However this subdivision has some erroneous corners that the builder was unaware of which caused the problem. When we were hired to survey the lot (after the house was already built) , we found these errors and corrected them. Unfortunately this put the house over the BRL. I feel like there was no way to avoid this problem since the builder did not need a boundary survey until after the house was built.
