Rear door needs replacing - the old one was kicked in; 2. The kitchen base cabinet needs replacing to include a sink; 3. Roofing shingles need replacing; 4. Needs a water heater; 5. Ford Building Official DCF /pah cc: City Manager Finance Director • LETTER OF AGREEMENT This agreement is made and executed this First day of March, 1994 by and between the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, a Municipal Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the City), and Mrs. Lillie Allen, and the Donner Community Development Corporation (CDC) of Atlantic Beach, Florida. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City agrees to allow the Mrs. Allen to temporarily rent the house at 1651 Frances Ave. for a dollar a month, on a month to month basis. 2. The total allowable term of the rental will be from March 1, 1994 to September 1, 1994. Mrs. Allen and the CDC agree to voluntarily vacate the House at 1651 Frances before September 2, 1994 or upon thirty days notice by the City to vacate. An extension to the rental period may be made at the discretion of the Atlantic Beach City Manager. 3. The City agrees to allow the CDC to make repairs to the house on behalf of Mrs. Allen. The CDC agrees to make all repairs in accord with the City's Code. The City will not be responsible for any repairs or their funding for the House. 4. All cost of utilities and thiair connection to the House will be borne by Mrs. Allen and /or the CDC. 5. Mrs. Allen and the CDC agree to hold the city harmless for any claim as a result of the house being rented by Mrs. Allen and /or used or repaired by the CDC. Mrs. Allen and /or the CDC further agree to maintain on behalf of the City a standard home owner insurance policy. 6. This Agreement sets forth the entire Agreement between the parties hereto, and fully supersedes any and all prior -2- agreements and understandings between the parties hereto pertaining to the subject matter hereof.
