ations when the following limitations are satisfied:
(1) The building cannot be located on the upper half
of an isolated hill or escarpment which satisfies
all of the following:

No clearing, grading,excavating, filling, or other disturbances of the natural terrain will be
permitted until the City's approved erosion and sediment control measures have been
installed, except those operations needed to implement these measures. A clearing permit
is required by the Building and Zoning Departments of the City of Atlantic Beach.

Effective April 1,2003,projects that will disturb one or more acres of land and that
discharge stormwater to either a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) or to
surface waters of the State must obtain coverage under the State of Florida Generic
Permit for Stormwater Discharge from Large and Small Construction_Activities
(CGP) [DEP Document 62-621.300(4)(a)]. CGP notification requirements include:
• A completed CGP Notice of Intent(NOI) [DEP Form 62-621.300(4)(b)] must be
submitted to FDEP before the commencement of construction.
• A completed Notice of Termination (NOT) [DEP Form 62-621.300(6)] must be
submitted to FDEP to discontinue permit coverage. A NOT may be submitted
only when the site meets the eligibility requirements for termination specified in
the CGP.

Erosion and sediment control measures are site specific. Erosion and sediment control is
performance oriented. Even if control measures are installed on a site in accordance with
the approved plan,the site is only in compliance when the erosion and sediments are
effectively controlled.
The erosion and sediment control measures in the construction plan shall consist of, but not
be limited to,the following items:
1. The plans specify in detail the erosion and sedimentation control measures to be
used during all phases of clearing, grading, filling, construction andpermanent

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter certifies that the subject model approved for 130
MPH, EXPB locations is also acceptable for 130 MPH, EXPC loc-
ations when the following limitations are satisfied:
(1) The building cannot be located on the upper half
of an isolated hill or escarpment which satisfies
all of the following:
p RO hill or escarpment is higher than 30', and
Pe Q average slope of hill exceeds 10%, and
• • hill or escarpment has no obstructions to
wind movement by topographic features for
a distance from top of hill or escarpment
equal to 50 times the height of the hill or

acceptable). The standard 5/12 mono-pitch truss to
be used in the main roof areas must be SHM291402
designed by Universal Forest Products. All other
truss installation specifications are the same as
those specified on the approved drawings.
(4) The building must be constructed in the factory in
accordance with the structural specifications ap-
proved by the state authorized third-party agency
for 130 MPH, EXPC design wind pressures. The third-
party must certify that the construction of the
building in the factory satisfies this requirement.
This letter must be reviewed and approved by the state
authorized third-party agency (HWC) to be valid and
acceptable to the local building official.
