Dear Mr. & Mrs. Griffin:
We reference your request to correct a sewer problem at the above pro-
perty. You advise that when the City purchased an easement in 1982, the
City agreed to make good for any damages including a septic tank. You also
advise the City replaced an existing tank with a fifty -five gallon metal
drum. It is our understanding that you desire to have the City correct
the problem.
In a conversation with our engineers, they confirmed a metal drum was
placed on the property to serve as a temporary tank to allow use until the
sewer line was laid across the property. It was also their understanding
that you intended to hook up to the new system. It appears that no hook-
up has been made since the easement was purchased on March 19, 1982.
In consideration of your releasing the City of Atlantic Beach from any
and all future claims, we will connect the above referenced property to the
sewer system at no expense to you.
