The general contractor shall provide temporary sanitary sewer facilities (ie port -o -let) for all employees use during the construction period. The general contractor shall construct the facility accessing the work from the ground until drywall work has been sanded and painting is beginning. The owner does not want workmen accessing the new addition from the existing home. The general contractor will be provided with a key to the existing home however the general contractor shall control access to the existing home. This will allow the contractor to progress in the work without much concern with workmen soiling the existing carpeting and will almost eliminate the need for the workers to protect the existing home from dust and debris from construction activity. Both units are currently in working condition and shall become the property of the general contractor who can salvage the units or dispose of the units as he sees fit. Use reasonable caution in the removal of the units. The entire second floor will be conditioned from the new A/C unit in the new addition.
