To all board members:
Good evening, my name is Jacqueline Thomas and I reside at 1660 Jordan
S- t; Atlantiv Beach,Florida. I am speaking for myself and on,behalf of th c. other
Habitat Homeowners that reside on Jordan Street. I have appointed myself to
represent the nine families that live at the middle and end of Jordan Street. I have
also spoken with various officers and a city official'and they advised me to come
to-the city hall meetings and voice my concerns. I-was also told many officers
and citv officials are unaware of this street.
I moved there on September 8, 200 1,and the only changes that occurred
was the road that was paved in the summer of 2-00. Since then we have been
promised many other improvements such-as sidewalks, shrubsj and proper
drainage. We have people that pass through and dump their trash across the
street and keep moving. Another issue that wasn't addressed was the paving of
the driveways to meet with the road. This too is a big problem for the residents
because when-it rains the driveways get messy and�muddy. Most,homeowners
have to put pine needles that have fallen from the tree to absorb the water. We do
not deserve to be living on a street that is in this type of condition because
everyone wants better.
We the residents an Jordan Street are concerned about the safety of our
children. We feel that a dead end sign is needed at the end of the street because
the barricade that was put up does not stop the cars. While the children are at
play cars are constantly speeding down the road and driving through the park
whicly is very dangerous whery there -is a,park-full,of children, We also-need an
entrance to the park from the street so we don't have to walk through someone
else's yard.
Please help us beautify our street and get it in order, it would-be a great asset to
the community.
