Lewis Street 33 REVISIONS EBY DATE GENERAL NOTES & REQUIREMENTS 1. Tic construction work shall comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations as they apply to this project along with all the requirements of the Standard Building Code, Southern Building Code Congress, latest edition. 2. Provide G.F.I. circuits at all outside and bathroom receptacles. 3. Do not scale the drawings, Dimensions shall govern in all instances. Report any discrepaincies to the Architect before proceeding with the work. 4. Plans assume all soil bearing capacity 250OPSF. ff site conditions exist to the contrary, notify Architect in writing before proceeding with the work. 5. The entire area under and within 5'-0" outside of the building, drives and walks shall bie cleared of all topsoil trees, vegetation, roots and other organic matter prior to starting construction. 6. Fill the site as required with good clean granular sand in loose layers between 12 and 24 inches and compact by vibratory rollers to 95% of maximum dry density as determined by a modified Proctor Compaction Test (ASTM D-1557). Verify compaction results with tests by a Florida Registered Testing Laboratory. Proof roll the area under the building prior to filling. 7. Treat the entire area under and within 5'-0" of the building for subterranean termites. Provide renewable bond against such damage for a period of one (1) year following date of final completion. 8. Provide (4) concrete cylinder tests for each 50 cubic yards or fraction thereof of concrete iplaced in foundations, columns, bearns and supported slabs. 9. All concrete shall achieve 2500 P.S.I. bearing capacity in 28 days. All concrete shNll be ready-mixed in accordance with A.S.T.M. specifications.. 10. All reinforcing steel shall be new billet, deformed steel A.S.T.M. A-615 Grade 60. 11. Slope all sidewalks away from building at 1/4" per 1'-0". Light broom finish all sidewalks,, stairs, and ramps. Score concrete in pattern indicated. Bullnose all exposed concrete eftes. See architectural floor plan for pattern. 12. All concrete floors shall receive a smooth trowel finish except as noted. 13. Provide 1/2" asphalt impregnated expansion joint wherever concrete slabs butt any vertical :structure. 14. All lumber in contact with masonry or concrete shall be pressure treated. 15. Subcontractors shall be responsible for protecting adjacent structures, equipment, streets, sidewalks, landscaping and existing construction. 16. All shelving shall be ventilated vinyl coated steel rod supported at 36" O.C. max. All closets to receive one (1) shelf. All linen, broorn and pantry closets to receive four (4) shelves. 17. All water piping within residence shall have vacuum breakers. 18. All trusses shall be T-O" centers with temporary and final bracing in strict accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Roof trusses shall be designed and certified by a Florida Registered Professional Engineer. Submit shop drawings for approval prior to fabricating trusses. All bearing walls shall be 2x4 stud framing unless noted otherwise. Corners and bearing points shall be filled solid with jacks and spiked. Top bearing plate shall be continuous with lapped joints and corners. Provide outriggers on all gable ends. Strap each truss to top bearing plate and T-O" down onto 2x4 stud @ 4A41 O.C. and at corners. See roof plan for general layout and pitch. Approved shop drawin 9-S "K shall supercede this framing plan. 19. Ceramic tile: interior, coefficient of friction minimum (min.) .6; exterior uses and interior -- wet. coefficient of friction min. .8, unglaze 20. This is a "Builder's Set" of construction drawings. It is not the intent of these drawings to show every detail of construction. The builder shall be responsible for supplying additional and/or supplemental information required for this project. It shall be the builder's responsibility to check, verify and coordinate dimensions, bearing points and 7 loads, construction details, notes and all phases of construction required to complete this J project.
