COMMISSION HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 1ST,
1958 AT 7 P.M.

J.F. Waggoner, Jr. , City Manager
Adele S. Grage, City Clerk
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor -Cimmission.er,
Mr. Howell.
Mr. Howell presented and caused to be read in full an.
Ordinance rescinding Ordinance NNlo0 l40 and restricting the
location wherein a vendor of alcoholic beverages shall be
permitted to conduct his place of business, etc. Mr. Moore
moved that the rules be waived and that said Ordinance be
adopted on first reading, The motion was seconded by Mr0
Johansen and having been duly considered the Mayor put the
question thereon and the vote was
Aye : Johansen, Moore, Roberts, Howell
hey: None
Absent : Whitehurst
Whereupon the Mayor declared said motion carried and said
Ordinance adopted on first reading,
Public Hearing on said Ordinance will be held on December,
8th, 1958? at 8 P.M.
Upon motion of Mr. Roberts, seconded by Mr. Johansen approval
was given for Christmas gifts to the City employees as foblows
$255000 to Administration, Police and Fire Department employees;
615.00 to laborers with over a yearns service and $10.00 to
laborers with less than a years service0
There being no further business the Mayor declared the meeting
adjourned0
