there on Levy Road at Atlantic Beach.
Find enclosed a copy of latest correspondence to Lynwood Roberts, Tax Collector.
I wish for you to know that the problems relating to that property have been a source of high
concern of mine for some time, 15 years, or more. The commute to Miami where my home was,
isn't easy.
I mentioned the non-cooperative position of a family member. My best take since our
conversation is that, NOTFHNG IS NEW OR DIFFERENT. Do not know where this will lead ,
but I believe it will take a lot of luck and perseverance .

Why is it, that your office cannot understand that there in no one at that property to receive any
correspondence, a.k.a. mail. There is not a mail receptacle there, no place to put mail !!!
To clarify this matter: Because of the recalcitrance of one Paul T. White and the inability of the
Tax Collectors Office to follow instructions via Long Distance Telephone, (followed by Written
Instructions), on not just one occasion, but three times, it has cost the heirs (me) several hundreds
of dollars in fines& charges because the one who is paying the Tax Bill has never been notified.
I believe that I'm correct when I state that I have dealt with three different Financial Institutions
to get the CLOUDS removed from the TITLES during the past five or six years.

SUBJECT: Abandoned house located at 150 Levy Road.
On Tuesday, December 23, 1997 at approximately 1600 hours I responded to
150 Levy Road per your request. Upon arrival I observed an abandoned wooden
house that had every door and window boarded up with no way of gaining entry.
The house is obviously abandoned and uninhabitable. To the rear of the house there
was an aluminum shed approximately 10 feet in width and 20 feet in length. The
door on the East side of the shed was barricaded from the inside with some boxes.
There is a sliding glass door on the north end of the house that was partially broken
and ajar. Once inside there were various signs of transient occupancy. There are
several shelves containing miscellaneous items such as tools, hardware, etc. There
were also several food wrappers and food scattered throughout the building. A home
made grill, which definitely indicated a fire hazard, was located on the North end of
the building. The grill still had pieces of food on it as well as burnt wood underneath.
Full and empty beer bottles were also scattered throughout the building. There were
two sleeping bags on the floor, however there was no one present at the time.
