11-11-54 v MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING OF TEL ATLANTIC BEACH TOWN COUNCIL
HELD AT THE TOWN HALL ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1954 AT 8 P.M.

Adele S. Grage , Town Clerk
The meeting was called to order by the President, Mr . Minchew.
Mr. A.J. Birchall of the firm of Smith and Gillespie , Engineers
talked with the Council at length on the Engineering Report on
the Waterworks Project which report supplements the one made by
them in June of 1948. During the discussion it was brought out
that the next move should be appointing a fiscal agent .
It was , therefore decided to ask Mr. George Carrison of the firm
of Pierce , Carrison, Wulbern, Financial Advisory Service , Inc . to
meet with the Council on next Tuesday night, November 16th to discuss
the matter of Waterworks financin. ,lith the . This firm was formerly
the Clyde C. Pierce Corp. and acted asfthe Town's Fiscal Agents on
the Waterworks project as far as it went in 1949.
Upon motion of Mr. Carr , seconded by Mr. Feather the Flagler Paving
Co. (C.E. Merritt) bill _in amount of $164.05 was approved for pay-
ment.
The Committee recommended the approval and acceptance of the
estimated cost made by the City of Jacksonville Electric Department
for the installation of eight new street lights. Upon motion of
11r. Feather , seconded by Mr. Carr the recommendation of the committee
was accepted and the City of Jacksonville to be advised to proceed
with the installation.
Upon motion of Mr. Thames the meeting adjourned from day to day.
