HFT,D AT THE TOWN HALL ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30TH, 1952 AT R P.M.
Present:

J.D. Brotchie, Town Manager
Adele S. Grage, Town Clerk
The meeting was called to order by the President, Mr. Adams.
There was a discussion of the floor show being offered at one
of the cocktail lounges in the Town, and what license fee should
be charged for Night Elubs operating in the Town limits. After
studying the question and discussing it at length it was decided
a Night Club - a place witheperformances furnished for entertainment -
should have a license of $2000., and that an establishment furnishing
music with special dance floor only would be licensed for n150.
Upon motion of Mr. Kirby, seconded by Mr. Thames Ordinance Amending Ord.#115
Providing for Payment of License Fees, etc. to include fees as stated
was passed on first reading. Upon motion of Mr. Kirb7, seconded by
Mr. Thames, it was passed on second reading.
There was a discussion of the License Ordinance in general, and
the Town Clerk and Town Manager were directed to study the present
schedule of licenses and make recommendations for changes at the
next meeting. Upon motion of Mr. Kirby, seconded by Mr. Thames
An Amendment to the License'Ordinance #115 to cover any needed
changes in license fees.
Upon motion of Mr. Kirby, the meeting adjourned from day to day.
