TOWN COUNCIL HELS AT THE TOWN HALL ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL
30TH , 1947 at $ P.M.
Present :

Harcourt Bull, Jr, Councilmen
and
G.L. Rosborough, Mayor
Frank Thompson, Town Attorney
C .R. Frazier, Town Supervisor
The meeting was called to order bybthe President ,
Beale Travis .
There was discussion of the Legislative Acts which
have been received from the League of i,:unicipalities .
Mr. Thompson had read them, and presented each with
his comments as to their affecting the Town. Upon
motion of Mr. Bull, seconded by i•ir. Williams the follow-
ing Resolution was passed:
RESOLUTIO N.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council of the Town
of Atlantic Beach, Florida with the advice of the Town
Attorney, have carefully considered all proposed acts
and resolutions now before the State Legislature directly
or indirectly affecting municipalities , and
WHEREAS , certain proposed acts and resolutions
are apparently to be desired and others have been found
objectionable ,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THIt ]MAYOR AND
TOWN COUNCIL That the following Bills and Resolutions
be approved and the passage thereof he asked, namely:
House Bill No. 215 and Senate Bill No. 156,
Senate Joint Resolution No. 219 and House Joint Resolution
No. 137,
House Joint Resolution No. 62, House Bill No. 1$6,
House Bill No. 43 House Bill No. 98, House Bill No. 341,
Senate Bill No. 80 ( I_f water is included) , House Bill Nc.74,
and House Bill No. 4022
AND THAT The following are opposed by the said Mayor and
Town Council: House Bill No. 16$, House Bill No. 209,
House Bill No. 107 , Senate Bill No. 21, Senate Bill No. 217,
Senate Joint Resolution No. 257, and House Joint Resolu-
tion No. 412. •
IllkBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the comclusions arrived
at herein be furnished to the Duval County Delegation for
whatever help they may be in their deliberations , and that
a copy of this Resolution be furnished the League of Muni-
cipalities.
There was a discussion of the Neptune Sewerage
Connection and the rental rate to be made to the
Town of Neptune Beach. The matter was referred back to
hr. Frazier to answer r. Boyer' s letter on this matter.

There was discussion of various matters of interest
to the Town, but no action taken. Following this
the meeting was adjourned.
