TOWN COUNCIL HELD AT THE TOWN HALL ON AUGUST 15TH, 1947
AT 3 P.M.

Harcourt Bull, Jr. , Councilmen
and
G.L. Rosborough, Mayor
Frank Thompson, Town Attorney
C.R. Frazier, Town Supervisor
Adele S . Grage , Town Clerk
Mr. Leedy trendy of Leedy, Wheeler and Alleman
of Orlando, FlIrida , presented Mr. Burton Sr„ith of his
firm who was present to discuss with the Council their
proposal to become the Town's financial agents on the
Sewerage Project. Mr. Smith read their proposal and
discussed it at length with the Council.
It wa; brought out in this discussion that owner-
ship of the waterworks by the Town would be very advantageous
, as the only protection we have on sewerage billing would
be in conjunction with the water billing.
After a lengthy discussion of these subjects, the
matter was referred to the Town Attorney and the Finance
and Taxation Committee for further study ,
Upon motion of Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Merritt ,.
The request of Mr. Glover Weiss to convert his
secondary building into a two family residence was referred
to the Town Attorney.
Mr. Frazier was requested to write Johns PH:anville
Co. for information on transite pipe .
Upon motion of iir. i•ierri.tt the meeting adjourned
to Monday night, August 13th, 1947 at 3 P.M.
