12-16-46 v MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED kEETING OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH
TOWN COUNCIL HELD ON 1,_ONDAY, DECEMBER 16th, 1946 AT $ P.M/
AT THE TOWN HALL.
Present :
Beale Travis, President
N.A. Minchew
Harcourt Bull, Jr. , Councilmen
and
Frank Thompson, Town Attorney
Adele S. Grage, Town Clerk
Upon motion of Mr. Bull , seconded by Mr. Minchew
the matter of the 10% utilities tax was deferred until
a full attendance of council was present .
Mr. Frazier's letter was read relative t'o garbage
collectionfon the North Atlantic Beach Section, and it
was the unanimous opinion that we do not wish to handle
the garbage collection in that area.
Upon motion of Mr. Minchew, seconded by Mr. Bull
it was authorized that the Town pay for the ad on the
Zoning Ordinance , as the change applipp, o •thgt.,Jentire
section covered by the Ordinance.
Upon motion of Mr. Bull, seconded by Mr. Minchew
the following Resolution was passed:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA
THAT Lot 1$, Block 1 Atlantic Beach Barkway be
omitted from the 1946 Tax Roll , as aame is the property
of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida, and therefore is
church property.
There being no further bmsiness the meeting adjourned.
