The meeting was called to order by the President after
adjournment from day to day from Jan. 5 , 1943 because of lack
of a .juorum.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were passed for
reading to the next regular monthly meeting.
The Treasurer submitteC his usual monthly financial re-
port, which, upon motion of Mr. Cranford, seconded by Mr.
Chiasson, was approved and ordered filed.
Upon motion of Mr. Cranford, seconded by i•:Tr. Travis ,
the following bills were approved and ordered paid:

The City Supervisor reported in reference to the condi-
tion of County Foods in the Town , advising that the County
Engineer hes agreed to come down end go over the ratter both
with the Town end with the U. S. Argy and to take whatever action
can be taken in the matter.
The City Supervisor advised in reference to the trouble he
is having keeping employees in the garbage Department. Tt was
agreed that the men should be paid on the present basis and no
deduction be made in their present salaries because of the can-
cellation of the agreement to take up garbage at the Army Camp.
By unanimous consent the City Supervisor was authorized to move
the house at the Incinerator to a place off the :'aypoit Coed on
property belonging to C .F . Frazier, under an agreement that the
Town could have free use of the property for the duration and
six months thereafter with the understanding that any and all
ieprovements placed thereon at the expense of the Town could be
moved off at the expiration of the agreement. See letter of
C .F. Frazier in the file's.
It was agreed that a permit would be issued to th-e Home
Utilities Co. , to run water to the Presbyterian Church on
Sherry Drive.
Upon motion of Mr. Travis , seconded by 'fir. Chiasson , the
City Supervisor was authorized to pure' ase ten chairs suit-
able for use at Council Meetinge.
Tho question of control over enlisted men in the Town was
thoroughly discussed. ..r. Chiason offered to assist in the
matter in anyway pos. ible and it was agreeu that some action
should be taken in order to remedy a -,ituati.on that hos recent-
ly developed.
