Upon motion of Mr. Cranford , seconded by Mr.
Jacobs , the minutes of the monthly meeting of Nov. 5,
1943 were aloroved as read.
Upon motion of Mr. Jacobs , seconded by Mr. Cranford,
the report of the Treasurer was a proved and ordered filed.

111 1• A disco-cion wan had in reference to Surplus
Seawall Funds. Mr. Ci anford to see Mr. Allen of the Beach
Bank in reference to placing funds in Savings Account.
Upon motion of Mr. Cranford seconded by Mr. Jacobs,
the Clerk was ordered to pay the balance due on the K2
International Truck.
Upon motion of Mr. Jacobs , seconded by Mr. Cranford,
the Clerk was ordered to issue a check to Neptune in the
amount of 00. , merely as a token of appreciation for them
having purchased a rulmotor and having offered its useto
the citizens of Atlantic Reach .
Mr. Cranford made a report on the Audit recently
completed by Hall and Fisher. He stated that the report
was complete and showed satisfactory handling of funds,
except that i'- did not go far enough into the Seawall
account. Additional information will be furnished.
Upon motion of Mr. Cranford, seconded by Mr. Jacobs
An Ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DISPOSAL
OF GARBAGE NITHIN THE TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH , DUVAL COUNTY,
Florida, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION" , as
passed on second reading.
A lengthy discussion was had in reference to the

recent talks with the Adams interest and particularly 411
concerning their proposal to turn the waterworks over
to the Town with certain considerations, restrictions,
reservations, etc. It was decided that because of
certain requirements under consideration that the transaction
could not be legally made under the terms of the memorandum
and that there is doubt an to the value of this system to
the Town at this time . It was therefore passed.
There being no further business fpr consideration
the meeting adjourned.
