MINUTES of the regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Atlantic Beach, Fla., held at the Town Hall on May 17, 1926.
Meeting called to order by V.- President of the Council Pritchard.
Present: Messrs. Pritchard, Bell and Horne.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
!;The Special Committee on Electric Lighting in the Town reported
::having seen and conferred with Mr. Fowler of the Jacksonville
iBeach Bond Committee as well as Mr. W. H.Adams, but that there
J';seemed to be no solution in sight without the purchase of the
existing lines from Lir. Adams by the Town.
The discussion revealed that the lines as existing had been�rected
lat cost of private parties - so far as related to lines wkich
:,had caused the appointment of the Committee - and that the parties'
immediately affected had paid Mr. Adams for same. It was not
clearly revealed whether Mr. Adams claimed ownership of the lines
so constructed but that otherwise he laid claim to existing lines.'
There being no other solution in sight and no further business
before the Council, adjournment was moved, seconded and carried.
