The Tree Removal Application and related plans were not avail able for the Board. Following a lengthy discussion, John Weldon moved that George Worley be instructed to inspect the site onthe following day, accompanied by Carl Walker , if possible , for violation of the Ordinance and to notify the owners of the property, in writing, of the violation and that a completed Tree Removal Application must be submitted to and approved by the Board prior to any further work taking place at the location. Dezmond Waters se- conded the motion which passed unanimously. Lot #2 , Beachside . It was pointed out that this location was actually on Beach Avenue and that an application had previously been approved for the site . No explanation could be made for the plans being resubmitted . Sandra Sheppard moved to approve the plans ; John Weldon seconded. The motion carried, with one abstention (J . Pelkey abstained) . Carolyn Woods brought up for Board discussion and comments the subject of George Worley' s performance as designee . She expressed some concern that , due to his other duties , George may be too lenient or permissive in his responsiblities as designee , especially in the area of enforcement . John Weldon agreed that George ' s written report expressed such a tone but Dezmond Waters pointed out that the Board decisions , in al- most all cases , corresponded with George ' s findings or recom- mendations . The general consensus was that' the Board was satis- fied with George ' s performance at this time . With no further business for discussion, the meeting was ad- journed at 9 : 50 pm.
