Adjournment All information related to these applications and full legal descriptions for the subject properties are available for review at the City of Atlantic Beach Building Department located at 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Tree Conservation Board with respect to any matter considered at the above meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. MnvuTES or TREE CONSERVATION BOARD March 6, 2003 A special called meeting of the Tree Conservation Board was held Thursday, March 6, 2003, at the City Hall Conference Room. Present were Chair Barbara Mears, David Owens, Bill Permenter, Maureen Shaughnessy and Susan Dunham. 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at x:01 p.m. 2. Old Business A. Tree Removal Application: 1) Lot 1, Hidden Paradise: Mr. Paul Nichols of Bestcon, Inc.,, advised that they were requesting removal of the 22" oak to allow the buyer of the property to pull his boat along. the side yard_ He further advisedthathe would_like to move the 18" palm to another location.on site, and protect the 12" oak and the 16.x" oak. A motion was made by Board Member Permenter, seconded by Board Member Owens, and unanimously carried that the Building Official issue a permit for the removal of 40" of oak to be mitigated on site with a 12.5" and a 16.5" oak, and the 18" palm will be moved to another location on site. Mr. Nichols informed the Board.that Bestcon purchased 11 acres on Dutton Island Road where they plan to build a new subdivision called Paradise Preserve. A short discussion ensued. 3.
