If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Tree Conservation Board at the above meeting,
he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record
of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony of evidence upon which appeal is to
be based.

TREE CONSERVATION BOARD
July 16, 2001
A regular meeting of the Tree Conservation Board was held Monday, July 16, 2001, in the City Hall
Commission Chambers. Present were Chairperson Mae Jones, Richard Bell, Camille Hunter, Barbara
Mears, Judith Jacobson, Building Official Don Ford and Susan Dunham.
1. Call to Order
Chairperson Jones called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m.
2. Recognition of Visitors
None.
3. Approval of Minutes of Meeting of July 2, 2001
A motion was made by Board Member Jacobson, seconded by Board Member Hunter and unanimously
carried to approve the Minutes of the Tree Conservation Board Meeting of July 2, 2001.
4.A. Old Business/Tree Removal Applications
1) None.
5.A. New Business/Tree Removal Applications:
1) Property located across the street from 44 Jackson Road: Mr. Jay Devine, landscape architect,
introduced himself to the Board. Chairperson Jones stated for the record that she and Board Member
Jacobson drove to the site together due to the lack of a car. Discussion was held and it was determined
that the survey was inaccurate. The Board requested the Mr. Devine come back to the Tree Conservation
Board with an accurate survey.
A motion was made by Board Member Bell, seconded by Board Member Jacobson and
unanimously carried to defer this application until an accurate survey is received.
6. Reports and Announcements:
A. Historical Tree Preservation Ordinance: The Board determined that there were no additional
changes to the Historical Tree Preservation Ordinance. Building Official Ford advised that this final
version would be presented to the City Commission. He further advised that he is still gathering the
pictures for the presentation.
Building Official Ford stated that due to rain,the site inspection of Hidden Paradise scheduled for
Saturday, July 14, had been canceled. The Board rescheduled the site inspection for Saturday, July 21, at
8:00 a.m.
7. Adjournment:
There being no other business or discussion,the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
