Minutes of March 7, 1994
The Board held its regular meeting on Monday, March 7, in
the Conference Room of City Hall. Present were:
Carolyn Woods, Chairman Torn Frohne
Hope Van Nortwick
Staff: George Worley, Coordinator
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by Carolyn Woods,
Chairman.
The first application for consideration was for property at
Lot # , Block # 106, Section "H". There was no one present
to discuss the request with the Board.
After discussion, Hope Van Nortwick moved to accept the plans
with the exception that the 8" and 9" oaks at the S. W. corner
of the concrete patio be saved, and that a total of 24" of
replacement trees be planted, each with a minimum of 3" DBH,
or that monetary mitigation be made to the City for the value
of the replacement trees. The motion was seconded by Tun
Frohne and unanimously passed.
There was discussion on the next application for tree removal
at Lot # 19, Tiffany by the Sea. There was no representative
present for the builder or property owner. Hope Van Nortwick
moved to approve the plans with an exception that a total of
51" of hardwood trees, with a minimum of 3" DBH each; half
of these are to be planted on site and the remainder to be
donated to the City. The previous agreement for oak trees
throughout Tiffany by the Sea will remain in effect. The
rnot ion was seconded by Torn Frohne and unanimously passed.
Torn Frohne moved to accept the minutes of the last meeting;
Hope Van Nortwick seconded and the rnot ion passed unanimously.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:05 PM.
