11-09-95 v TREE CONSERVATION BOARD
Minutes of November 9, 1995
The Board held a special meeting on Thursday, November 9, at 7:00 PM, in the
City Hall Conference Room. Present were:
Hope Van Nortwick, Chairman Rick Beaver, and
Jim Pelkey
Staff: George Worley, Board Designee
The only item of business was consideration of the application for tree removal in
Donner Park by the City of Atlantic Beach to permit the construction of a
Community Center. The Board was advised that the site preparation work,
including the tree removals, was being donated by Centex Homes and that due to
their short window of availability, the request could not wait until the next regularly
scheduled meeting.
The Board discussed the plan and proposed replacements and determined that
the request was acceptable.
A motion was made by Rick Beaver to approve the plan as submitted. Jim Pelkey
seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business before the Board, the meet adjourned at 7:30
PM.
