Minutes of Meeting of January 20, 1992
The regular meeting of the Board was held Monday, January 20,
1992 in the Commission Chambers, City Hall. Present were:
Carolyn Woods, Chairman Jim Pelkey
Torn Frohne John Weldon, Jr.
Carl Walker, Coordinator
George Worley, Designee
Guest : Frank Thrower, Contractor
The Meeting was called to order by Carolyn at 7:35 prn.
The only application for Board consideration was for removal
of 29 pine trees and 1 palm on property at Lot # 32, Selva
Linkside. Frank Thrower who filed the application was pre-
sent for discussion of the plan with the Board.
The Chairman called for a recess so that the Board and Mr.
Thrower could meet at the site for verification of the trees
to be removed.
Following the site visit, the Board reconvened at 7:45 pm.
A motion was made by Jim Pelkey to accept the plan as sub-
mitted; John Weldon seconded and the motion carried unani-
mously.
A discussion took place as to names of persons who might be
submitted for consideration for Board appointment to fill the
existing vacancy. Cynthia Corey was suggested. Ms. Corey
was contacted and expressed a willingness to serve, if ap-
pointed. Her name will be submitted to the Mayor.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved following a
mot ion made by John Weldon and seconded by Torn Frohne. With
no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8: 10 pm.
