04-01-91 v TREE CONSERVATION BOARD
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
Meeting of April 1 , 1991
Chairman Carolyn Woods called the meeting to order at
7 : 30 pm in the City Commission Chambers , City Hall. In
attendance were :
Sandra Sheppard Jim Pelkey
John Weldon, Jr.
Carl Walker , Coordinator
George Worley, Designee
Guests :
Robert Brite , Builder
Susan Brite , Sales Agent
The Board reviewed the Tree Removal Application and plans
for property described as Lot #11 , Selva Linkside . The
application calls for removal of five ( 5 ) trees ( 1 Oak
and 4 Gum ) . Following discussion with the builder and
sales agent , Sandra Sheppard moved to accept the appli-
cation as filed; Carolyn Woods seconded; the motion
passed unanimously.
The minutes of the last meeting of March 18 were reviewed
and a motion made by John Weldon that they be accepted, as
written. Carolyn Woods seconded and the motion carried
unanimously.
George Worley reported, adding remarks to supplement his
written report furnished the Board. Follow ups had been
made at the construction sites at Lot #37 , Oceanwalk 2 ,
and Lot #1 , Unit #1 , Selva Linkside . George was satisfied
that construction progress , at this time , was in compl-
iance with the applications granted by the Board. He will
continue to perform on site visits at these locations as
well as other properties to monitor .
With no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned by Carolyn Woods at 8 : 05 pm.
